AJ’s Sports Bar in Fuengirola

AJ’s Sports Bar in Fuengirola is not just the best bar there, it is pretty much the only bar there with all the football on TV and also has the best pool team in the whole area. And I thought I’d say a quick hi to Tony, Jan, Jay, Joe and the rest of the Evertonian crowd, whilst I was writing my blog today (sorry guys; for some reason you jumped into my head).

Anyway. If anyone is going to the hotels in Fuengirola for their holiday this summer, make sure you pay AJs a visit for the football (and Jays curry and roast dinner), and please say hello from Tim the web designer for me!

   Hi Tim,

   A couple of years ago we had some great days and nights at AJ`s my brother worked near where they lived back in Liverpool as I remember Jay`s wife was just about to have a baby. we went back this year (2011) but couldn`t find the bar have they moved? i did have their email but lost it. If there is any info you could let me know about would be much appreciated as we are going back agian in 2012 and would love to catch up with them!

   Just as I was leaving fuengirola (April 2006) they’d had the bar bust into and all the plasma’s/safe etc nicked, but they’d reopened after that. But after that I really don’t know.

   Yep – great bar. Ace. I loved all of them in there. Jay even cooked a curry for me one night so I could blag my chick at the time that I’d cooked it. Best pool team in the league too.

   Jay even won (or was in) Junior Mastercheif on the telly, top cook and good all round fella in fact the whole family were lovely and yes a great pool team I think they won their leauge while we were there!!!
