Just had to give Lisa and Dan a mention (yes, and you Nick) doing their bit for the planet (not to mention giving their vid a bit more coverage, and their snowboard web site another link or two).

If you are into the environment, and want an environmentally friendly snowboard, then look at this – the Eco Rocket:

Are you looking to buy a snowboard? Are you looking to choose a snowboard? A decent snowboard? Windlip Snowboards are custom designed snowboards.

Happy fuckin’ Xmas

Happy Xmas to everyone who knows me.

I was a good catholic boy and went to midnight mass in Turin, and have spent the whole time shopping, watching DVD’s and eating lots (on my new low colesterol diet).

My mate Nick is back tomorrow (I’ve had his flat while he has been away; although I have spent most nights con la bellissima ragazza), and we are off snowboarding 29th and probably most of next week. I have a mate on the lifts at one of the largest Italian resorts, with the last Olympic downhill course, of which the start is one of the steepest nightmares I have ever come down. I’m looking forward to that. Nick is also bringing back a new collection of music for my iPod.

New Year, who knows?

Buon Natale!

Global Day of Action for climate

Did you know that Saturday is the Global Day of Action for climate? If you’re not going out to a demonstration in your area, you could maybe join us online instead.
We want YouTube’s important “most commented videos” page to be all about climate change on Saturday. This can’t be bought. But it can be won! Here’s how: If thousands of people comment on a handful of climate videos in the next few hours, we can break onto that page, where many more people will see them, and the climate message will spread from there. It all starts with you. Are you ready?
Watch these videos, leave a comment under each one, and keep clicking to watch related videos until you’ve seen them all (there are 12 so far – from different groups campaigning on climate change).

This week of activity

Well, lots has happened this week.

Firstly due to Aston Martin cutbacks, my mate Nick is off to work back in the UK so no more snowboarding every weekend for him (unlucky Nick). It’s his leaving party on Saturday and he goes Monday. We are off snowboarding this weekend – both days to choose from.

I got the shock of my life after a blood test on Monday. Double colesterol limits in my blood. Yikes. So I am on a diet with no cheese, no salami, no eggs, no fat, no chips, no crisps etc – not too bad for this week, but I miss the cheese board lunches that I am used to. Tomorrow is saturday and that is fried breakfast day, so……….:(

Andi is being cool this week and seems a lot happier now her radiotherapy is finished. It’s her birthday on Monday so I have to go out and get her something this weekend.

The camper is being cool this week with loads of gas onboard and all instruments and gadgets working. It is nice to be warm with hot water and lights.

My new dating website is all up and running at last after a few teething hitches etc with headers and footers and policies of the contacts, which are all feed in from a global database. It is FREE to regsiter and you too can find your perfect partner (well, maybe).

As normal on a friday I am still awaiting my wages at 5pm but my ’slow to pay’ and Scottish boss reckons he’ll be at the cash point in 20 minutes. I hope so…….

And that for the week, is about it.
