So who is the Juventus supporter that found himself amongst the Zenit fans:

Must be me!
Anyway, a second-half goal from Alessandro Del Piero was enough for Juventus to see off the challenge of Zenit and send these muppets back to St Petersburg, Russia, in their Champions League Group H opening game.
Go on Juve!

I don’t know why all these women keep moaning at me for being out all day – I’m only at Creche expanding my social and interpersonal skills.
And creche is FREE too – I just pay for refreshments!
Women moan all the time for nothing!

AJ’s Sports Bar in Fuengirola is not just the best bar there, it is pretty much the only bar there with all the football on TV and also has the best pool team in the whole area. And I thought I’d say a quick hi to Tony, Jan, Jay, Joe and the rest of the Evertonian crowd, whilst I was writing my blog today (sorry guys; for some reason you jumped into my head).
Anyway. If anyone is going to the hotels in Fuengirola for their holiday this summer, make sure you pay AJs a visit for the football (and Jays curry and roast dinner), and please say hello from Tim the web designer for me!

We went to Avigliana today in the beautiful girlfriends mums car – not the Aston Martin we took last time. Still it was a lovely day for a walk round the lake, and now at the Pizzeria they have all the outside seating area done and a loud rock jukebox for a bit of entertainment.
And the beautiful girlfriend was looking very beautiful too

Oh my god. How did you do it? Not only did you shag the small old gypsy woman from the Huntsman, you had her stay at your house, AND EVEN GAVE HER A LIFT HOME IN THE MORNING. Have you no morals?
How could you – you should be ashamed of yourself. And we all know who I’m talking about, don’t we?

Are men crazy? They are told to admit to it sometimes.
Picture a man and his girlfriend sat out eating a meal, that has just arrived at the table.
When suddenly and totally unannounced, an man approaches the girlfriend and putting his arm round her shoulder, whispers in her ear (twice). With no explanation to the man. The simple explanation the girlfriend offers is “I’ll tell you later”.
When the man quite rightly insists and asks his girlfriend what that was about, his girlfriend explains that the man that came over is a homosexual male escort, and the other man he was with (an old man) is a client that he is working for 500€ to be with and have sex with.
Well. The man is rightly disgusted with his girlfriend, revolted with the whole situation, angry and upset, and tells her that if a similar situation ever arises again, then he’ll kill whoever is concerned. The girlfriend shrugs it off as if she has done nothing wrong and calls him crazy…
Is the man crazy? I think not! What do you think? Use the ‘comments’ link below to tell me.

Again an establishment arises that is worthy of praise in my blog. The ‘Derryman’ is a typical British bar just back from the beach in Benalmadena on the Costa del Sol, but with one difference. Lots of people use it.
On becoming a regular and being rewarded with my 2€ a pint beer by Pete, I amazed the whole pub by immediately befriending the best looking woman in there (hi Lillian from Salford), and amazing Dottie the landlady by walking her out of the place, all within 10 minutes of arriving. But enough about Lillian.
Xmas dinner was a great invitation; thanks Pete. I can’t even remember paying that day. The day was shared with a guy Gary who had another big motor home (we both parked right outside), a guy named P. who reportedly opened safes for the PIRA, a Danish sex case we had to protect everybody from and a very drunk middle aged Arsenal supporter. One of the sunniest Xmas’s I have had!
Dottie and Pete did a fine spread. Thanks.

The VAT & Fiddle in Nottingham has to be one of my all time favorites ever (along with several other hundreds of favorites).
The brewery house of Castle Rock Brewery, it serves perfect pints of Castle Rock and guest ales, and has a selection of over 10 different ales to choose from at any one time. When I was last in Nottingham the beer was brewed by a rather nice chap from Somerset, Adrian and the pub was run by his then girlfriend Sarah.
Also great for the ambiance of the days drinking were the unfeasibly large cobs (a bread roll to a Nottingham outsider; I hope they haven’t got any smaller), and the pubs regular clients always on hand to provide a bit of humor and banter.
I miss my days in there with Russ and Barry, but now no longer have to live with the sole cause of the misery I drank to escape, so life is better. One day I might return. I just hope the cobs haven’t got any smaller.
