Hard life!
Friday, September 3rd, 2010<br />Oh, sometime it also involves a fast car, girl or Windlip Snowboard too. Here’s a Mclaren so you know what one looks like:

Surfers and snowboarders helping to reduce youth reoffending!
A new charity is currently being set up to accommodate the most prolific child re-offenders in Europe, bring them for a month in the Alps, and a month in West France and Northern Spain. Over the period with us they will be given all the equipment they need, and taught to surf, snowboard and LIVE, amongst one the lifestyles available today, and introduced to one of the kindest, life changing communities there is. Our aim is 100% – NO REOFFENDING!!!We want anybody to join our cause and help promote us. Join our cause on Facebook. We will announce the release date of the new liveNlook social networking web site THERE just as soon as we have it ready. Please, please feature our Facebook cause on your profile, and invite all of your friends to become members too!.
We are looking to take on other members to our commitee alongside the founder members, and have a true European following of each students development and mentoring. We are specifically looking for business leaders, with a strong marketing background, or a finance background. We especially invite applications from those with a background experience from within a charity or within a criminal psychology/rehabilitation environment.
We are also looking for snowboarding, skiing and surfing instructors, ex SAS, Parachute Regiment or Royal Marine Physical Training Instructors, Mountain Expedition Leaders, and accommodation providers in the Italian and French Alps, Hossegor, Cabreton and Biarritz in South West France, and Mundaca in Northern Spain. We are also looking for volunteers in all areas to give a few minutes per week to collect local probabtion service information and enter it in our database. If you can help with any of this then please e-mail in the first instance to volunteer@livenlook.org

The video with all the snowboarding action to edit for the new charity is here. Thanks Dan and Lisa! It’s great! Loads to use, and looks like some great powder days too.
If you didn’t know Dan and Lisa run a custom designed and manufacture snowboard company called Windlip in France, and make the boards we all use.

Tested my new snowboard, a J Class by Windlip Snowboards this weekend and it is exactly what Tim would say is “fucking great”.
“Fast as fuck, and I can’t wait to ride it again!”

Tim has just taken delivery of one of these snowboards designed by Windlip in France. Looking forward to getting it well tested this weekend. Especially with the new Drake Podium bindings:
Just had to give Lisa and Dan a mention (yes, and you Nick) doing their bit for the planet (not to mention giving their vid a bit more coverage, and their snowboard web site another link or two).
If you are into the environment, and want an environmentally friendly snowboard, then look at this – the Eco Rocket:
Are you looking to buy a snowboard? Are you looking to choose a snowboard? A decent snowboard? Windlip Snowboards are custom designed snowboards.
Snowboarding is now less than 2 1/2 months away, and I can’t fuckin’ wait. New board, bindings and boots are all on the cards for this season (and a pair a gloves with new warm linings in them), as is 3 days lift passes a week if poss. Hopefully the dragon ex-wife will let the kids come across too (I hope she’s not coming).
We are on about getting a helmet camera this year instead of chasing each other down the mountain trying to capture any action on a mobile or shitty handheld digital camera, and hopefully some of the top resorts here are going to be loaded with powder. Judging by the shitty cold and wet weather already at times, I’m hoping my dreams will be realized this winter. I even have the beautiful girlfriend thinking about getting some mountain clothes, although I think it will be hard enough to get her on some skis let alone a snowboard.
She’ll still look beautiful anyway!
